Every class we choose one student who is displaying a black belt quality. Wether that being patience, enthusiasms, courtesy to others, or courage in trying something new. We want the students to understand that these qualities lead to success & happiness inside the martial arts class and outside of the class in everyday life.  We explain how the honorary black belt is an award that means they can achieve whatever they put their minds too.  Parents appreciate the concept of allowing the children to mentally build positive images of success.
