There are many underlining themes throughout the Harry Potter series, and possibly one of the most powerful and often overlooked is the theme of loyalty.  Loyalty to friends and family is a character trait that we love to promote in martial arts.  Loyalty means being able to count on your friends when the chips are down. When things don’t go according to plan and sometimes completely wrong, you know you can count on your friends to be there to help. The great thing about loyalty is that it is a two way street. This means that you will be there for your friends, but they will also be there for you when you need them.
