Today we Canadians have awoken to solemn news, the passing of Jake Layton. No matter your political view you can not deny Mr. Layton’s contribution and impact on Canadian culture and society. His service to his country is something that should be remembered and applauded.
He was known for his passion, enthusiasm, and hard work in the house of commons and as leader of the official opposition, all of which are virtues we as Martial Artist hold in high regard. We are all grateful for his community service and leadership role he so valiantly pursued.
As Martial Artists we practice having an “attitude of gratitude” which means we have an understanding of the debts we owe to others. Today we as Canadians understand the debt of gratitude we owe to Jake Layton. Thank you Mr.Layton!
