Unfortunately, training every single day doesn’t allow your body the recovery time it needs and overtraining can occur. Overtraining can actually lead to storing more fat! You need some rest days to let your body recuperate. Doing too much can also kill motivation and make you more susceptible to illness and injury.
Consistency over time is the secret. Be disciplined and have a long term approach to your fitness by ensuring your are working hard but also giving yourself enough time to recover.
